Homepage Structure #
The standard TALARIA homepage is organized into three primary sections:
- Header Banner: Displays the title and a welcome message introducing the resource sharing community.
- Search & Entry Box: Allows users to search for a reference or manually enter bibliographic metadata.
- Navigation & Localization: Features Login and Signup options in the top right corner, alongside a language selector supporting Italian, English, Spanish, and Turkish.
Searching for a New Reference #
You can search for a new reference using its exact title or standard identifiers (such as DOI or PMID) for automatic import.
1. Open Access (OA) Version Available #
If the reference is located and an Open Access version exists, it will be displayed immediately. Clicking “OA version found” grants you direct access to the OA document.
2. Open Access Version Not Available #
If an OA version is not available, you can proceed by clicking the “Go!” button. You will be redirected to log in and then taken directly to the New Request page to import the full bibliographic reference.
3. Reference Not Found #
If the reference cannot be found in the system, you can still create a new entry by clicking the “Go!” button. After logging in, you will be redirected to the New Request page, where you can manually fill out a blank form.
