Fill Rate

This section measures the effectiveness of borrowing and lending activities by showing the proportion of requests that were successfully completed.

Borrowing Fill Rate #

This is the ratio of received borrowing requests to the total number of received and not received borrowing requests:

Borrowing Fill Rate = Received Requests ÷ (Received + Not Received Requests)

Canceled, in-progress, and new requests are not included in the calculation. Reiterated requests are also excluded because they refer to the same bibliographic reference. This ensures that the fill rate reflects the ability to retrieve the requested references rather than the number of attempts made.

Lending Fill Rate #

This is the ratio of fulfilled lending requests to the total number of fulfilled and not fulfilled lending requests:

Lending Fill Rate = Fulfilled Requests ÷ (Fulfilled + Not Fulfilled Requests)

A higher fill rate indicates a greater proportion of requests that were successfully fulfilled.

Users can select a specific year to view the corresponding fill rate.
